Sam Bowden

Sam Bowden is a writer, actor and comedian who’s been plying his trade both in Australia and in the UK since 2012. 

Having worked alongside the biggest names in comedy and opened for the likes of Danny Bhoy, Brian Posehn and Lawrence Mooney, Sam has taken shows to nearly every major arts festival in the country.

His debut solo hour The Epicurean Shark enjoyed a sell-out weekend at the Wonderland Festival in 2018 at the Brisbane Powerhouse, after which he was invited back to perform as part of the Brisbane Comedy Festival showcase and Queerstories. His 2024 show “Don’t Panic! (It’s Happened Before)” earned him rave reviews at MICF as well as a sell out run in Sydney and Perth, respectively. The show has been selected for a residency at the Old Fitz Theatre in 2025, and he continues to play his trade as a writer for stage and screen.

Sam is available for corporate and private functions as both a Comedian and MC.
