Some comedians try to go up there and wing it, do an hour of improvised stand up. This is not that at all. Everything you see on stage is tightly scripted. An acknowledgement of a drink falling over, that’s scripted. Crowd work, all scripted. Ben won’t be wearing cuffs so there’s no chance for him to do anything off of them (off the cuff is the joke there if that’s not clear). But all the material he does on stage will be clear as heck!
