Hailing from Dunedin, across the pond in New Zealand, Tama Alexander made the move over to Australia in mid-2026 to make moves in the big smoke, hitting the ground running with an impressive list of accolades. Despite his young age, Tama has racked up a bunch of awards and nominations, including Most Outstanding Emerging Talent at the Dunedin Fringe Festival in 2023, and Breakthrough Act (South Island) at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards 2025.

A natural all-rounder, Tama’s loveable presence on stage has seen him open for such acts as the UK’s own, Ed Gamble, USA acts Josh Wolf and Akaash Singh, as well as Australian comedy heavy-hitters Blake Pavey and Daniel Muggleton.
